DairyGirlNetwork.com launched and registration open for WDMC networking dinner in Reno

February 26, 2015

Women involved in dairy have the opportunity to attend the next Dairy Girl Networking Dinner at the Western Dairy Management Conference in Reno, Nevada. The newly formed Dairy Girl Network (DGN) is growing fast as dairywomen across North America join the movement.

Dairy girls will meet on Tuesday, March 3 from 6:30pm – 9pm at the Nugget Casino. A buffet dinner is planned for 7pm in the Southern Pacific AGB room.

Ladies planning to attend the biannual conference are encouraged to participate in the Dairy Girl Networking Dinner. The event is designed to expand networks and connect dairywomen hailing from diverse backgrounds. Attendees will learn more about the Dairy Girl Network, including the Inspire mentorship program and other avenues to get involved.

Previous Dairy Girl Networking Dinners have been held at World Dairy Expo and proved deep success as women walked away inspired to get more involved.

“One of the most gratifying parts of our first networking events has been seeing young women meet women who paved the way for them,” said Laura Daniels, DGN founder and a dairy producer from Cobb, Wis. “We knew these young women had much to gain from the wisdom of our women leaders. What surprised us was how much both groups of women enjoyed sharing their experiences. You could actually see their energy level rise as the conversations progressed.”

Admission cost for the Reno networking event is $20 per person. Pre-registration is encouraged online at www.DairyGirlNetwork.com, the organization’s recently launched website.

The Dairy Girl Network is collaboration through leadership of Daniels and founding sponsors including DairyBusiness Communications, Diamond V, Elanco and ImmuCell.

The Dairy Girl Network connects all women of the dairy industry, encouraging ideas and camaraderie in an effort to achieve personal and professional development. Designed as a welcoming network of passionate women involved in dairy, relations will grow through support and inspiring others to accomplish goals.
