Women are invited to the Dairy Girl Network (DGN) event set for the Central Plains Dairy Expo in Sioux Falls, S.D. next week. Dairy girls will meet on Wednesday, March 25 from 11:30am – 1:30pm at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.
The intent of the Dairy Girl Networking Social is to introduce women involved in all things dairy while enjoying delicious dairy treats. At this casual (child friendly) event, women will feel welcome from the moment walking through the door. The objective is to help women grow their network, support one another and help all dairywomen succeed. A brief overview will also be presented about the Dairy Girl Network organization. Women attending the Central Plains Dairy Expo are encouraged to stop in at the event for a few moments, or relax and visit as long as they desire.
Sioux Falls Dairy Girl Network event co-chairperson, Shannon Seifert stated, “The Dairy Girl Network offers a unique opportunity for women in the dairy industry, either as producers or as industry professionals, to connect, share ideas, form friendships and develop mentors. I am encouraged by the spread of this group to include women from across the country and in all generations. We have so much we can learn from sharing with each other.”
Previous Dairy Girl Networking events have been held at World Dairy Expo and Western Dairy Management Conference. The gatherings proved deep success as women walked away inspired to get more involved.
The Sioux Falls event is supported by founding sponsors, DairyBusiness Communications, ImmuCell and Elanco. Admission cost for the networking event is $10 per person. Pre-registration is encouraged online at www.DairyGirlNetwork.com, the organization’s new website.
The Dairy Girl Network connects all women of the dairy industry, encouraging ideas and camaraderie in an effort to achieve personal and professional development. Designed as a welcoming network of passionate women involved in dairy, relations will grow through support and inspiring others to accomplish goals.
