Women are invited to the Dairy Girl Network (DGN) event scheduled at the All-American Dairy Show in Harrisburg, Penn., one of the largest all breed dairy shows in the U.S.A. Dairy girls will meet on Monday, Sept. 19 from 7pm – 9pm in the Cameron Street Foyer.
Dairy Girl Network strives to connect dairywomen with one another as a source of support and inspiration. The event will introduce Dairy Girl Network programs and highlight the upcoming Forward TogetHER Dairy Girl Network National Conference.
Women involved with any part of dairy are encouraged to attend – whether as a calf feeder, dairy owner, marketing consultants or cheese producers, veterinarian, researchers, etc. If there is a dairy cow involved in what she does, she’s invited.
“Dairy Girl Network is comprised of great women who have a wealth of knowledge to share and want to learn from each other, says Tami Smith, Addiseo representative and event chairperson. “Our social media pages give an opportunity for idea sharing and the local events, like this, bring us together face to face for more of the same! The connections we make are amazing because we all share a similar passion – cows.”
Pre-registration is encouraged at DairyGirlNetwork.com by September 14. Walk-ins are welcome at the event as well. Ticket price is $20.00 per person.
The networking event open to women dairy farmers and industry partners is sponsored by Dairy Girl Network Vision sponsors: Diamond V, Land O’Lakes, Dairy Herd Management, Sustaining sponsors: CRV, DeLaval; Catalyst sponsors: Zoetis, Cargill; Connection sponsor: ImmuCell and event sponsors CHR Hansen, Merck, Addiseo.
