It’s hard to put into words just how much Laura Daniels, Carrie Mess and Kristy Pagel mean to DGN. As founding Board members and visionary leaders, they have poured their hearts into this organization, shaping it into the incredible community it is today.

Laura’s vision to connect and empower women in dairy is what DGN was born from and led by for the last 10 years. Carrie’s energy to build community is what formed and grew Exchange, our private Facebook group. And Kristy’s dream of bringing together women from across the nation to learn, lead and succeed is what began and continues our Forward TogetHER national conferences.

While their board terms are coming to an end, their impact is forever woven into the fabric of DGN. We are beyond grateful for their leadership, dedication and unwavering belief in the power of connecting and supporting dairywomen. Thankfully, this isn’t goodbye. Laura will remain on the Board as Founder and Ex-Officio President, and Carrie and Kristy will continue to be cheering us on and be involved.

Though change is always bittersweet, term limits allow us to welcome fresh perspectives and new voices who will help carry DGN’s mission forward. We will continue to grow, evolve and learn – always building on the foundation set by leaders like Laura, Carrie and Kristy.
