Partner & Industry Initiatives

Honoring the International Year of the Woman Farmer (IYWF) takes many forms, and this space is dedicated to showcasing the collective impact of our industry. From storytelling projects to educational programs and campaigns, these partner-led initiatives reflect a shared commitment honoring dairywomen. We’re proud to stand alongside organizations who are helping grow this movement throughout 2026:

  • National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA)
    • Serving as a main hub for IYWF initiatives and highlighting their own storytelling campaigns, NASDA remains the original voice promoting this celebratory year.
  • Take the National Women in Agriculture Study
    • This survey is part of a national effort to better understand the experiences, needs, and perceptions of women in agriculture today. Your responses will help identify what’s working, where there are gaps, and how agricultural communities and organizations can better support women across all roles, from farmers and ranchers to educators, advocates, and business owners.
  • USDEC “Voices from the Barn” Podcast
    • In recognition of 2026 being the United Nations International Year of the Woman Farmer, the U.S. Dairy Export Council (USDEC) is pleased to launch a podcast, Voices from the Barn. Hosted by USDEC President and CEO, Krysta Harden, this podcast features conversations with dairy women farmers from across the U.S. and around the world. These women share their stories, challenges, accomplishments and so much more.
  • More to come!
