Volunteer at World Dairy Expo

Join us in Madison, WI for World Dairy Expo during the week of October 1st-5th, 2019! We will be hosting two events as well as the Family Lounge all week long. For the week, we are looking for helpers to check in on the Family Lounge and/or donate items. Our Connect Annual Networking Event and Sharing Wisdom Educational Session are both in need of help during the event and for registration tables. Find out about each opportunity below:

Volunteer and/or Donate to the Family Lounge

Dairy Girl Network Family Lounge is a space that families with small children may rest and recharge in a quiet atmosphere during the hustle and bustle of World Dairy Expo. There is also an area for nursing mothers that is also available. This space offers comfortable seating, a changing station, toys and snacks to recharge. The Family Lounge will be open all day, every day during World Dairy Expo.

We are looking for donations of items to stock the room for families and children. Please review the available slots at the link and click on the button to sign up. Donations may be mailed to arrive by September 25 to the designated DGN staff member, or dropped off at the Family Lounge at start of the World Dairy Expo.

We are also looking for volunteers to stop by Lounge throughout Expo to complete basic light housekeeping (checking diaper genie/garbage, de-cluttering, picking up toys, restocking). Your commitment is not required the full duration of each slot – stop once, twice or stay as long as you desire. Please review the available slots at the link and click on the button to sign up.

Volunteer at the Connect Networking Event

Join us for our annual networking event during World Dairy Expo! This Connect Event will be held on October 2nd at the Sheraton Madison Hotel (right across the street from the Expo grounds!). We are looking for volunteers to help with the welcome table/registration as well as greet dairywomen as they arrive. We are also looking for Networking Associates to help guests meet others, make connections and mingle.

Volunteer at the Sharing Wisdom Educational Seminar

Learn with us at our Sharing Wisdom event as we have a diverse panel of speakers cover the topic “Recovering from a Downturn”. This event will be taking place on Friday, October 4th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Mendota 3 room in Exhibition Hall. We are looking for a few volunteers to help with our registration table and setup/cleanup for this event.
